Lifting a houseboat by Boekestijn and Nederhoff

The Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 of Schot is put up in Amsterdam North (NL) to hoist a bridge together with the Liebherr LTM 1100/2 of Commandeur & Plomp.

The 57 tonne crane is hanging here in both crane. The houseboat is passing now.

Somewhere else in the street is the guying on the Demag AC 650 of Nederhoff mounted.

Again somewhere else is the Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 of Boekestijn put up with 165 tonnes of counterweight.

A Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 is used to erect the luffing jib.

The problem is this bridge. The houseboat will arive from the left and should pass the bridge to reach its final destination.

The LTM 1500-8.1 is put up with a 28 metre luffing jib.

Both cranes are fully equipped. The load is attached now.

Here the houseboat is hanging in the crane, they have to swing now.

I don't know the exact mass of the house, but I think it is around 120 tonnes.

Then the houseboat is towed further. The principal for this job was B.Q. de Ruiter.

The Nederhoff-crane was fully equipped, with 160 tonnes of counterweight and boom guying.

After a short 10-minute job, the cranes are disassembled directly.
