Fuwa FWT-55 - Crane Business
A Fuwa FWT55 on the yard from Crane Business in Moerdijk (NL), the importer of these machines.
It is a 55 ton made in China telescopic crawler crane. This machine is seen as the successor of the usually used 50 tonne crawler cranes.
A benefit of this crane is the very short building-up time. After the tracks moving outwards the machine is ready for use. The transport dimensions are: 13 x 3.2 x 3.3 meters (L x W x H) and the transportation weight, with counterweight is 59.1 tonnes.
The counterweight weights 15.6 tonnes and can be disassambled for a lower transportation weight.
The height of the cab is adjustable.

The cab could not only move upwards, but can alse be tilten.

The crane has 38 meters of boom, which can be extended with 7.1 meters of lattice jib.
The boom shuffles 4x. A runner for the whipline is attached on the boomhead. The driver can use two hookblocks. One for light - and one for heavier work. This is not much seen in the Netherlands.
