Hitachi CX900HD - De Branding
This sharp Hitachi CX900HD belongs to construction company De Branding from IJmuiden (NL) and was used here on a project in Spaarndam (NL). It is a 90-tonne crawler crane.
It is a CX900 in HD-version, the crane is equipped with a stronger diesel engine with a power of 221 kW (296 hp) and stronger winches, compared to a standard CX900. At De Branding is the crane sometimes also used with a grab.
The undercarriage is 6.4 meters long and 4.9 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.4 meters.
The 4-part counterweight has a total mass of 31.3 tonnes and has a 4.27 meter tailswing.
Here was the crane fitted with a 46 meter long main boom, the maximum length of the main boom is 61 meters.
The jib has a 10 meter length and mounted here in a 30 degree angle towards the main boom head.
