Terex CC 2500-1 - Toggenburger

The company Toggenburger from Winterthur (CH) is owning some large crawler cranes, also this Terex CC 2500-1. This was for many years the biggest crane of the\ company, but in the beginning of 2016 they added a new Terex Superlift 3800 crane in their fleet.

The Terex CC 2500-1 is a 500 tonne crawler crane. The crane is 9 meters wide.

For this job no central counterweights were required, in total 40 tonnes of central counterweight can be mounted between the tracks.

The tracks are 10.9 meters long, 1.3 meters wide and 1.64 meters heigh. They have a weight of 30 tonnes each.

Toggernburger is using their crawler cranes everywhere in Europe.

Fitted with 120 tonnes of counterweight, with a maximum of 160 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is 8 meters.

In both boom foot of the booms are adjust winches built. In the left boom foot, belonging to the superlift boom, is the adjust winch for the main boom made. In the boom foot of the main boom the adjust winch for the luffing jib (here properly sealed).
