Terex AC 700 - Wiesbauer

This sharp Terex AC 700 of Wiesbauer was shown on their open day at the yard in Bietigheim (DE). It is a 700-tonne crane mounted on a 9-axle carrier.

The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 480 kW (653 hp). The undercarriage has an 18x8x16-drive lines, where four axles are powered and eight axles are steerable.

In transit is the crane 20.65 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass is 108 tonnes.

The outrigger base of the crane measures 12.2 meters x 11.6 meters (front) and 12.4 meters (rear).

During the transport over the road is the cabin slewed behind the superstructure. The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 906 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (279 hp).

Here was the crane fitted with 100 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 7.5 meter tailswing. The full counterweight of the crane weights 160 tonnes.

Here was the crane erected in LFSSL configuration with the SSL superlift 30 degrees openend.

The main boom has a 15.5 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 60 meters.

A 50 meter longe fixed jib is mounted to the main boom, this is the maximum length that is possible. In this configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 15.4 tonnes on the minimum radius of 20 meters.
