MAN TGX 41.680 - Timmerhaus
This sharp MAN TGX 41.680 with 8-axle low loader of Timmerhaus from Oberhausen (DE) stood parked along the highway 6 near Hockenheim (DE).
It is a 4-axle truck with 8x4-drive line that is powered by a 16.2-liter V8 diesel engine MAN D2863 with a power of 680 hp.
Behind the front axle are the muffler, an air-filter and a storage compartment installed.
The truck doesn't have a tow coupling, the truck can only be used with trailers attached to the fifth wheel.
Behind the cabin are a 900 liter diesel tank, a 300 liter hydraulic oil tank, compressed-air tanks, a storage compartment and a large cooler for the hydraulic oil. The truck is equiped with a WSK 440 torque converter. The truck is prepared for train weights up to 250 tonnes.
Attached is an 8-axle Nooteboom low loader in 3-bed-5 configuration, good for cargos up to 100 tonnes.
The cargo is an IHC Fundax F2800 from Otto Quast. The drilling rig is during the transport 20.4 meters long, 3.5 meters wide and 3.5 meters high. The transport mass is around 68 tonnes.
In the grille are two large orange flash lights installed. To support two large head lights on the roof are below the bumper another four lights installed.
