Grove GMK4080-1 - Westkran
This strange Grove GMK4080-1 from Westkran was working in a cooling tower, together with the
Demag AC 160-1 from Fahrenholz.
It is a Grove GMK4080-1 superstructure, mounted on a MAN truck chassis. The boomlength is 51 meters.
It is a 5 axle truck chassis. The rear axle was added later.
I think the outrigger base is diffrent compared with a 'normal' GMK4080-1.
The counterweight weights 19,3 tons.
The cab was a little bit beveled for the over passing boom. A special and rare crane!
