Kato SR-700L

This impressive Kato SR-700L, a 70-tonne rough-terrain crane on a 2-axle carrier, stood parked along the road next to a large construction site in Singapore (SG). Unfortunately I was unable to identify the crane's owner.

.

In transit is the crane 12.59 meters long, 2.99 meters wide and 3.68 meters tall. The total mass of the crane is approx. 40 tonnes. Next to the main boom is hanging the 8.3 - 13.2 meter jib.

The outriggerbase of the crane measures 8.1 x 7.6 meters, or half 8.1 x 5.4 meters.

Such cranes don't become a registration (licence plate) in Singapore to drive over the road. For the transport over the road to the next job site is the crane towed. The crane can reach a maximum driving speed of 49 km/h.

The crane itself is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TLE2A, an 11.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 257 kW. The engine powers four hydraulic pumps.

The 6-part main boom has a 10 meter base length and extends to a maximum length of 44.5 meters.

The crane is driven and operated from a single cabin. An impressive and sharp crane!
