Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1

Moh Seng

Here, the fine Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 of Moh Seng from Singapore (SG) was deployed to dismantle a tower crane.

The crane was erected in TY configuration. The six-section main boom has a base length of 14.9 metres and telescopes six times to a maximum length of 70 metres.

The outrigger base measures 8.93 metres by 8.53 metres.

Here, the crane was erected with 120 tonnes of ballast, which has a swing radius of 5.7 metres. The maximum ballast is 140 tonnes.

The main boom was telescoped here to its full length of 70 metres. Here, the boom section of a Liebherr 355 HC-L 16/32 Litronic is being rigged.

The boom section weighing approximately 5 tonnes is suspended from the LTM 1350-6.1 here.

A few months earlier, I was able to observe the same crane during another tower crane dismantling operation. Here, two tower sections of a Potain MCR295 are being lifted out of the building.

The luffing jib has a base length of 12 metres and can be extended in steps of 6 metres to a maximum of 78 metres. Here, the luffing jib is 30 metres long.

The main boom is telescoped here to a length of 65.6 metres and extended with 7 metres of lattice section. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 14.7 tonnes at a radius of 26 metres or 4.4 tonnes up to a radius of 56 metres.

Again, a few months earlier, I was able to observe another tower crane dismantling operation with Moh Seng's LTM 1350-6.1.

Here, the crane was erected with 80 tonnes of ballast, a guyed main boom and a luffing jib.

Here, a Yongmao STL230 was being dismantled; the inner boom section is being lifted here.

The crane was erected here with a 42-metre-long luffing jib.

The main boom is telescoped here to a length of 55.5 metres. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 13.2 tonnes at a radius of 32 metres or 6.8 tonnes up to a radius of 64 metres.

A very fine and rugged crane from Moh Seng!
