Terex AC 350/6
Hup Hin
This impressive Terex AC 350/6 of Hup Hin from Singapore (SG) was deployed on a construction site there with a luffing jib to lift construction materials. It is a 350-tonne telescopic crane mounted on a 6-axle carrier.
The 6-axle carrier is powered by an MTU 450-3a diesel engine with an output of 450 kW (612 hp). The outrigger base of the crane measures 8.7 x 8.5 meters.
Here, the crane is configured with the full ballast of 116.7 tons, the ballast has a slewing radius of 3.84 meters, which only just remained within the construction site boundaries. The superstructure is powered by an MTU 205-31 diesel engine.
The luffing jib has a length of 30 meters in this configuration. In this setup, the crane can lift 23.8 tonnes at a radius of 28 meters or 18.4 tonnes at a radius of up to 40 meters.
The luffing jib has a base length of 24 meters and can be extended in increments of 6 meters up to a maximum length of 72 meters.
Hup Hin also operated the predecessor model of this AC 350/6, which was the version with lateral guying.
The main boom is extended here to a length of 36.2 meters. An impressive deployment by Hup Hin!
