Bauer BG 36

Team Alliance

This Bauer BG 36 belongs to Team Alliance from Singapore (SG) and was deployed there to drill foundation piles for an elevated metro line.

A Bauer KDK 367 S rotary drive with a maximum torque of 367 kNm is mounted in the leader. The rotary drive has a maximum speed of 46 revolutions per minute. Here, drilling was carried out using a kelly bar. On this version of the BG 36, the rotary drive is moved by means of winches; optionally, this can also be done with a hydraulic cylinder.

The carrier is 5.68 metres long and 4.6 metres wide. For transport on public roads, the width can be reduced to 3.4 metres.

A total of 25.3 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure, consisting of three 5-tonne plates and one 10.3-tonne block. The ballast has a swing radius of 4.7 metres. The large kelly winch is mounted on top of the superstructure.

The two-section leader has a maximum length of 19.5 metres. The maximum height is 24.24 metres.

The base machine is a Sennebogen BS 80 powered by a Cat C15 diesel engine with an output of 354 kW (475 hp).

For transport on public roads, the leader is separated and the ballast is removed. The machine then still weighs approximately 80 tonnes. A fine machine from Team Alliance!
