Junttan PM 25H

Wagstaff Piling

This fine Junttan PM 25H belongs to Wagstaff Piling from Ashgrove (AU) and was standing idle on a small construction site during a weekend. It is a piling rig that can be deployed for driving piles of up to 25 metres in length.

The PM 25H is powered by a Cummins L9, an 8.9-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 272 kW (365 hp). The diesel engine drives three hydraulic pumps.

The extendable ballast has a base weight of 6 tonnes and can be increased to a maximum of 10 tonnes.

The carrier is 5.7 metres long and 4.88 metres wide. For transport on public roads, the width can be reduced to 3.44 metres. The piling rig has a total weight of approximately 80 tonnes.

The PM 25H can be deployed with a 5-, 7- or 9-tonne pile hammer. Here, a 7-tonne Junttan HHK 7a hammer appears to be in use.

The leader has a maximum height of 30.65 metres. To reduce the transport length, the upper section of the leader can be folded sideways.

A fine and substantial piling rig from Wagstaff Piling!
