Mercedes-Benz Actros 2645
HTI Zehner
This attractive Mercedes-Benz Actros 2645 of HTI Zehner from Herrenberg-Gültstein (DE) is used for transporting construction materials. During a weekend the combination was parked in an industrial area.
Both rear axles are driven by a Mercedes-Benz OM 471 LA, a 12.8-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 330 kW (449 hp). The front axle is steerable.
Behind the front axle the AdBlue tank, battery, compressed air tanks and a diesel tank are mounted. Behind the cab a small loader crane is also installed, namely a Palfinger PK 26002-EH D. This crane can lift 5.2 tonnes at a radius of 4 metres or 1.3 tonnes up to a radius of 14 metres.
An interesting detail are the MirrorCams mounted above the doors. The traditional mirrors are replaced by cameras; the live image is displayed in the cab via screens on the left and right. Especially in difficult conditions such as rain or darkness, rearward visibility is improved.
A 2-axle Kurz trailer with a flatbed and sideboards is coupled. In this case the combination was empty.
