Mercedes-Benz Actros 5054
Verhoeven Betonpompen
In 2009, Verhoeven Betonpompen from Zijtaart (NL) commissioned this interesting Mercedes-Benz Actros 5054 with Putzmeister M52-5. It is a used vehicle that had previously been deployed in England.
The vehicle is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 395 kW (537 hp). This vehicle has a 10x6 drivetrain, with the first, third and fourth axles being driven. The front two axles and the last axle are steerable.
The vehicle is 14.38 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 3.99 metres high. The total weight is approximately 48 tonnes.
The installed concrete pump can pump 160 cubic metres of concrete per hour. The outrigger base measures 10.4 x 10.4 metres.
The five-section placing boom has a maximum horizontal reach of 44.9 metres, measured from the centre of the slewing ring. The boom can reach a maximum height of 52 metres.
This was the first Putzmeister concrete pump in the fleet of Verhoeven. Nowadays, it also operates a Carbotech concrete pump with a 67 metre long placing boom, mounted on a 6-axle Mercedes-Benz Arocs chassis.
A very attractive vehicle from Verhoeven Betonpompen. Nowadays, it is no longer in their service.
