Scania R 620 - Yew Choon

This is the second Scania R 620 that is deployed by Yew Choon from Singapore (SG). Here stood the truck with a 6-axle trailer parked on their yard.

The truck is this Scania R 620 with 6x4-drive line. The power comes from a Scania DC16, a 15.6-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 462 kW (620 hp). Both rear axles are powered, only the front axle is steerable.

Behind the cabin is the heavy equipment tower, with the large diesel tank, hydraulic oil tank, compressed-air tanks and oil cooler mounted. The tower is sharply finished with recognisable Scania V8 panels. Behind the front axle are the AdBluetank, muffler and a storage compartment made.

On this side are the battery, two compressed-air tanks and another storage compartment made behind the front axle.

The ballast box that is installed on top of the driven rear axles has a total mass of 16 tonnes. At the rear of the chassis are two heavy trailer couplings made.

The front bumper is reinforced with a register coupling, with that is it possible to manouvre trailers or is it possible to push and brake transports.

Here is a 6-axle Goldhofer THP-module towed. The cargo is the base machine of the Demag CC 2800. The base machine is 13.8 meters long, 3 meters wide and 3.3 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 83 tonnes.

Later that day would the combination drive to the construction site.

A very sharp combination of Yew Choon!
