Kato SR-700L - People's Crane

This sharp Kato SR-700L belongs to People's Crane from Singapore (SG) and stood parked along the road nearby a large construction site. It is a 70-tonne rough-terrain crane mounted on a 2-axle carrier. The crane has a total mass of 39.75 tonnes.

The crane is 12.59 meters long, 2.99 meters wide and 3.68 meters tall.

The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TLE2A, an 11.95-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 257 kW. The crane has a 4x4x4-drive line, where both axles are powered and steerable.

The outrigger base measures 8.1 x 7.6 meters, or half 8.1 x 5.4 meters. In front of the cabin is a small storage frame for the outrigger pads made.

The crane is equiped with two 5-tonne hoist winches. The counterweight has a 3.55 meter tailswing.

The 6-part main boom has a 10 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 44.5 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 2-part 8.3 - 13.2 meter long jib. The jib is mountable in a 7, 25, 45 or 60 degree angle to the main boom.
