The Terex CC 2500-1 of Wagenborg Nedlift in Heerhugowaard (NL) for the erection of windmills.
It is a 500 tonne crawler crane.
160 tonnes superstructure counterweight with an 8 meter tailswing.
And 40 tonnes of lower counterweight.
The tracks are 11 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.65 meters height. They weight about 30 tonnes a piece.
The crane is 9 meters wide.
To erect the boom is superlift counterweight required, three plates of 12 tonnes + the 100 tonne hook block.
Put up in SSL/LSL configuration with 114 meters of main boom and 30 meters of superlift. The max. boom length is 126 meters.
The crane can also get set up with a 96 meter main boom and a 84 meter luffing jib.
The superlift boom is 30 meters long and can boom down up to 16 meters. The max. superlift counterweight is 250 tonnes.
The second time that I saw this crane, was in Rotterdam (NL). Here the crane is lifting together with two 500-tonne mobile cranes a two-part bridge for bicycle drivers. The weights are 350 and 325 tonnes, the length of the parts resp. 100 and 90 meters. The CC 2500-1 is fitted with a 48 meter main boom and has about 190 tonnes of counterweight hanging on the superlift.
