Iveco

Iveco, that means Industrial VEhicle COrporation is an italian manufacturer of coaches and trucks. It was founded in 1975 after some european truck manufacturers decided to fuse; these are FIAT, Officine Meccaniche (O.M.) and Lancia from Italy, Unic from France, and Magirus-Deutz from Germany. The first product after the merger was the Iveco Daily, a delivery van. In the following years were Ford, Pegaso, Saurer and Ital overtaken. By taking over Ital could Iveco aim on the pacific market. Current Iveco products are the Stralis and the Trakker. The Iveco group is producing around 200,000 vehicles each year.
