This interesting Kobelco CKL2600i belongs to Kim Heng from Singapore (SG). It is a 260-tonne crawler crane that was deployed for the construction of new apartments.

The CKL series of Kobelco is produced in India. The crane is powered by a Hino P11C-UN, a 10.52-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 247 kW (331 hp). The diesel engine drives four hydraulic pumps.

A total of 24 tonnes of central ballast is mounted on the carrier. The central ballast consists of two parts, a base plate of 6.35 tonnes and a ballast block of 5.625 tonnes.

The carrier is 8.97 metres long and 7.62 metres wide.

A single crawler track is 8.97 metres long, 1.22 metres wide and 1.37 metres high. For transport on public roads, the crawler tracks are separated from the body, and the weight per crawler track is 20.7 tonnes.

The crane is equipped with two 13.5-tonne hoist winches.

A total of 90 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure. The ballast consists of a base plate with a weight of 11.04 tonnes and a total of fourteen ballast blocks, each with a weight of 5.685 tonnes.

Here, the crane was equipped with a luffing jib. The luffing jib has a base length of 15.2 metres and a maximum length of 61 metres. Here, the luffing jib was 27.4 metres long.

The crane is equipped with a 48.8-metre main boom. The maximum combination for this crane is a 61-metre main boom combined with a 61-metre luffing jib. Here, the crane was deployed to erect heavy prefabricated concrete elements. A very interesting and fine crane from Kim Heng!
