Kobelco 7150

This fine and interesting Kobelco 7150 from the year of manufacture 1991 was offered for sale at a crane dealer in Singapore (SG). It is a 150-tonne crawler crane.

The carrier is 8.155 metres long and 6.67 metres wide. A single crawler track is 8.155 metres long, 1.07 metres wide and 1.3 metres high. The weight per piece is 20.7 tonnes.

A five-part ballast is mounted on the superstructure; the ballast has a total weight of 54 tonnes. The base plate weighs 13.6 tonnes, one plate 10.5 tonnes, two plates 10.8 tonnes each and one plate 8.3 tonnes. The ballast has a swing radius of 6.04 metres.

The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D22-TC diesel engine with an output of 216 kW (294 hp).

For the assembly of the crawler tracks, the crane is placed on four hydraulic jacks. The base machine weighs 46.8 tonnes.

The crane is equipped with two 12-tonne hoist winches, both fitted with 26 mm hoist rope.

The main boom has a base length of 18.29 metres and a maximum length of 82.3 metres. Here, the main boom is 21.34 metres long; in this configuration, the crane would be able to lift a maximum of 128.1 tonnes at 6 metres radius or 32 tonnes up to 18 metres radius, if the correct reeving is applied. A very fine and strong Kobelco!
