Lita Ocean
This impressive Kobelco CKE1800 belongs to Lita Ocean from Singapore (SG) and is deployed from a pontoon. It is a 180-tonne crawler crane.
The three hydraulic pumps in the crane are driven by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TLU2D, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 235 kW (315 hp). The undercarriage is 8.36 meters long and 6.67 meters wide.
A total of 20 tonnes of central ballast is mounted on the undercarriage. A total of 60.6 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure, consisting of a 10-tonne base plate and ten blocks of 5 tonnes each, which are attached to the crane with fixings weighing 0.6 tonnes.
The main boom has a base length of 15.2 meters and a maximum length of 85.3 meters. The crane is equipped with two 13.5-ton hoist winches, both of which are in use here.
Here, the crane is assembled with a 45.7-meter-long main boom; in this configuration the crane can lift a maximum of 70.6 tons at a radius of 9.4 meters or 10.7 tons at a radius of up to 41.2 meters, provided the correct reeving is applied. An impressive crane of Lita Ocean!
